I try to keep HeidiTown a happy place, but the fact is, I'm having a sad morning.

When going through some old posts to pick one to share, I realized I needed to update a bunch because a lot of places I'd visited were now closed. I do periodic updates, but this just really hit me because there were so many.

When you've been doing this as long as I've been, places will close, it's just life. But I just had to update A LOT and that hurts.

I mourn for each one of these small businesses. Many, I know, had owners that put their heart and soul into making them work.
